Hotel Information: Catering to an international clientele (possibility of topless sunbathing) of couples and families, the 600-acre Barceló Bávaro Resort comprises five All-Inclusive hotels, a casino, a golf course, and a large convention center linked by complimentary motorized shuttle "trains" running from 8 AM to 4 AM (schedule subject to change).
Containing three of the resort's seven All-Inclusive-plan ŕ la carte restaurants, the 558-room Barceló Bávaro Palace offers a beachfront location isolated at the resort's northern end away from the other hotels. A convention center is adjacent. Guests of this hotel may dine at all All-Inclusive-plan restaurants spread among the five hotels. (Two fine-dining restaurants, one in this hotel, are not covered by the All-Inclusive plan.) Guests of the other four hotels, however, must pay to dine at the Barceló Bávaro Palace’s restaurants. Guests of all hotels may drink at all bars and discos within the resort.
Guests of each hotel enjoy access to the entire resort's recreation and entertainment facilities and activities, including pools, water sports, land sports, children's clubs, and open-air theaters for nightly shows.
Barceló Bávaro Beach Hotel is located on the beach in the resort's center. It offers 600 guestrooms.
Barceló Bávaro Caribe Hotel lies on the beach near the resort's southern end. It offers 401 guestrooms.
Barceló Bávaro Golf Hotel is located along the golf course near the resort’s western boundary. The beach is 200m (219 yds) away. It offers 126 guestrooms.
Barceló Bávaro Casino Hotel is 300m (328 yds) from the beach, is flanked by the golf course, and contains the resort's 24-hour casino and the air-conditioned theater for the Tropicalissimo show. It offers 236 guestrooms.
Amenity highlights: A freeform pool measuring approximately 84m by 61m (275 ft by 200 ft) includes a jetted section, separate children's sections, and a swimup bar. The resort sits on a 3-km (2-mi) stretch of Bávaro Beach along the Atlantic Ocean. The hotel supplies kayaks, pedal boats, snorkeling gear, and small sailboats. Windsurfers and speed boats may be rented. Parasailing, banana-boating, tubing, fishing, glass-bottom-boat trips, and scuba-diving are available for a surcharge.

This Barcelo Bavaro Palace Hotel offers 558 extra-large guestrooms in six pastel buildings of three stories with elevators. Furnished balconies and ground-floor terraces offer views of gardens, pool, or ocean (ocean view not guaranteed). Sitting areas contain armchairs and tables. Bathrooms include bathrobes, twin sinks, and shower/tub combinations. Televisions offer U.S./European cable channels. Compact refrigerators are stocked daily with soft drinks, water, and beer.
